Team Gate City Cycle in the USCRA

The Gate City Cycle Race team was established in 2006 with help, mechanical and technical backing of Dude Wheeler of Gate City Cycle, Tony at the wrench and Zeke Sherman on the saddle. Gate City Cycle is a well established, well trusted and whole heartedly invested in British motorcycle racing. Dude and Tony build the engines for the Gate City Cycle race team with technology Dude has retained since 1964. Due to the efforts of the team and Zeke's passion for the race, he won the Pre 65 Championship in 2008 in a battle with John Sutton.
The plans for Gate City Cycle for this season are to strongly compete in the USCRA as well as a Mosport visit in the VRRA event in August.
Gate City is also a very strong competitor in the USCRA Endurance Race. with four bikes on the team, This team has proven them selves with podium finishes in 2012 and prior they also plan to race in the 30 minute Endurance Races along with other USCRA class in all seasoned events they will be running Two Triumph 500’s a BSA B50 a 750 Triton And hopefully another 500 Triumph.

Dude Wheeler's goals mirrors that of Zeke Sherman in the Gate City Race team. This is why a strong foundation was build so quickly in the early stages of the teams history. these goals are simple, to keep the bikes on the track, be competitive and most of all have fun. Dude has been very supportive of the USCRA and it's racing heartbeat. Before this team was established, each member has had and still has quite a history in vintage racing. each member of the team has there own race style and technique that makes the team successful. not only in the solo classes but the Big Fish Little Pond Endurance races as well. if you would like to send a message to Gate City Cycle Race Team, Click here...
